When the NFL come to town many of them like to be fed by Jackson Gilmour, and usually at the most iconic, historic venue in the capital – The Tower of London. This month we catered for both the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills at two separate events.
On both occasions guests - who included the team owners, sponsors, coaches, managers and officials - kicked off the evening with a private tour of the Crown Jewels. Then they moved through to the magnificent White Tower where they were greeted by charming JG staff offering cocktails and canapés.
We treated The New Armouries in a completely different way for each team; the NY Jets chose baronial-style long tables with a sit-down dinner of JG classics starting with lobster risotto followed by English beef and finished off with raspberry chocolate parfait while the Buffalo Bills opted for a more casual approach, dining from a wide range of food stations including steak and chips, BBQ pulled pork, hand carved Iberico ham, Italian charcuterie and a range of desserts served from our colourful candy station.
The Tower of London has a range of spaces for hire and a private view of the Crown Jewels can usually be arranged for guests.
