Jackson Gilmour kicks off the year with a spectacular showcase evening

Caterer of the Year Jackson Gilmour and Taste of the Vine teamed up to co-host a fabulous showcase evening at Event Magasine’s Venue of the Year - Somerset House. The event was staged in the stylish Portico Rooms, enabling the guests to enjoy views over the Thames on one side or the seasonal ice rink on the other. Our new range of canapés was delivered with characteristic efficiency by smiling JG staff, with the melt-in-the-mouth “Herb crusted Fillet of English Lamb with a miso glazed aubergine” proving particularly popular on this cold winter’s night.

“It was great fun and the food was absolutely delicious. My colleague and I haven’t stopped raving about it all morning. So please pass on our appreciation to your team.”

Taste of the Vine entertained everybody with a fun wine-tasting competition, and at the end of the evening everyone departed with a piece of award-winning JG Chocolate Brownie — which we hoped eased the strain of the journey home.
