Jackson Gilmour hits the right note at the Natural History Museum

Hot on the heels of our recent win as Caterer of the Year 2009, we’ve just had some more cause for celebration because the Natural History Museum has retained us as one of its preferred suppliers for the 10th consecutive year through to 2013. Our clients love this extraordinary and classic venue, and we love being able to offer it to you!

Our most recent event there was last week, when we entertained Classic FM in the NHM’s Central Hall. Some 500 guests enjoyed a spectacular evening that started with our exquisite canapés and then continued with a concert featuring Julian Lloyd Webber playing Elgar’s Cello Concerto. Guests all agreed it was an outstanding setting for a Classical Concert.

But the Natural History Museum isn’t just a place to hold that annual Big Event. Some of the smaller spaces around this fabulous Alfred Waterhouse-designed building are perfect for more intimate dinners and receptions. Recent additions such as the Tree Gallery with its unique 17metre long wafer thin section of an entire 200 year old oak tree embedded into the ceiling, the West Garden, perfect for summer entertaining and the much talked about Darwin Centre provides a unique setting for any event.

Be one of the first to dazzle your guests in our newest venue, the 8-storey cocoon, which is home to the Museum's scientists and millions of specimens.

In stark contrast to the historic architecture of the Central Hall, the Darwin Centre is the natural selection for a wide variety of events, from cocktail receptions to dinners. Admire the modern architecture or unwind in the Darwin Centre's tranquil private garden.
